Soundbreaker Bar Resilient Channel 3m

Soundbreaker Bars are resilient channels designed for timber joist ceilings and stud walls. They isolate your building’s structure by decoupling plasterboard from the stud frame or ceiling joist.

Incorporate Soundbreaker Bar resilient channels into your wall and ceiling solution to reduce sound vibrating through the structure.

Incorporate a resilient bar into your separating ceiling system with acoustic plasterboard to meet Building Regulations Part E.

Soundbreaker Bar soundproof systems are popular for domestic ceiling and wall soundproofing applications due to their slim profile, allowing minimal space loss within the room.

Attaching Soundbreaker Bars

• Fix the bars to the ceiling joist or a stud frame using a wood screw or drywall screw through the pre-drilled holes along the edge of the channel.
• Bars are fitted perpendicular to the frame or joist.

• Walls 600mm centres
• Ceilings 400mm centres

Attaching boarding to Soundbreaker bars

• Use drywall screws into the corrugated fixing section to attach the plasterboard to the bar.
• Avoid screwing into the joist or stud behind the bar as this will reduce their effectiveness.

Due to the nature of most of the materials we supply, orders are typically delivered on pallets.

All orders will be wrapped, protected, and secured to the pallet to ensure they arrive in the best possible condition. Goods will be delivered as near to the property as possible. The drivers will not be able to carry orders into your property.

Deliveries are made between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Once an order has been placed, you will be notified of the expected delivery date. Please ensure someone is available to sign for the delivery.

We charge a flat delivery rate of £60 plus VAT for palletised deliveries. We do not charge per pallet, no matter how many pallets are used to deliver your order.

Orders placed for items weighing less than 20kg will be sent via courier for £20 plus VAT.

We have a high stock level and typically deliver orders in approximately three to four working days.
